I've stayed at the Marriott next door three times and the Hilton is much nicer.
Word of advice: Don't eat here or order room service. The food is not so good.

I had to make a last minute trip to Charlotte, NC for business. I have been a Hitlon fan over the last 2 years. I found the Hilton at Executive Park on the Hilton Website and I booked it for 1 night.
The moment I arrived, I was greated by a friendly staff. They were very professional and willing to assist in any way. The lobby was very nice and clean. The resturants were also very nice and clean and the food was good.
The rooms were very spacious and clean! I had more than enough towels and the furniture was new and the beds were comfortable. Since I am a Diamond member, I was able to use the Executive Lounge and that was very nice. The staff there was very friendly and the food and the atmosphere was very relaxing and nice.
I would recommend this Hilton to anyone. I hope to stay there again real soon.

We booked this Hilton Hotel because we had some vouchers for a Hilton Stay. During our stay, we kept saying "well, at least it is free... well at least it is free..." because we were not at all happy with this hotel. Then, in the end, the Hilton would not even honor the vouchers (we're actually still in dispute about this, and have gone to HIlton Corporate, who issued the vouchers.)
The lobby looked nice, but front desk staff was not terribly friendly when we checked in, which ruined our initial first impression. The heating in our room never worked properly, and the hot water took a very long time to get to our sink. I will say that the bed was very comfortable, the guestroom looked nice - especially the well appointed bathroom.
The location is decent - close enough to Charlotte, with a few restaurants within walking distance. Sonny's BBQ and Chili's near by were surprisingly good!
The last night of our stay, we were treated to a fire alarm at 3am. At first, my reaction was that someone pulled the alarm, and did not blame the hotel. However, I was later told by one of the front desk staff that it was actualy a hotel malfunction. She did not, at that time, offer any kind of a return visit voucher or discount on our stay. At that point, I was still using my "well at least it is free" mantra, so I did not complain.
As I said, I'm still fighting with Hilton over the use of my vouchers - but even when the charge comes off my credit card (as I am confidant it will) I will still be left with a bad taste in my mouth about this hotel. I would not recommend it to anyone.

The hotel staff was friendly and prompt upon our walk-in. The hotel itself is very nice, clean and updated. The room was very clean. The bathroom was larger than I expected with with a large, very well lit mirror -perfect for applying makeup. The room is quiet even though it is near the interstate.
Thought we'd try a Hilton for a change. We won't come back here.
The good - bed was comfortable, towels were nice and thick. Rooms were good sized.
The bad - hotel should have been renovated several years ago. Everything was worn - to the point the place looked grungy and I didn't want to take my shoes off. Some renovation going on now. Musty smell in room (even my husband noticed and he rarely complains about odors). Toilet leaked around bottom - staff opened connecting door so we had access to adjoining room. Bottom sheet was coarse. Very low level lighting complete with burned shade on a lamp. Only continental breakfast was available even though we were supposed to have the full buffet. Waiter said that we would have to pay difference if we ordered off the menu. Definitely not worth the weekend rate we paid.
We normally stay in Marriott, Embassy Suites, Homewood Suites, Hampton Inn, Fairfield Inn.
