Let me start off by saying that this is a very nice hotel, especially
for under $100/night this close to downtown Charlotte. I definitely enjoyed the multiple internet kiosks, a decent fitness center, and a bed that slept like a cloud. The room was in very good condition, the bathroom was even better with nice counter tops and a great tile floor. On the whole, I really enjoyed this hotel. But....

From the moment I walked in I was more or less ignored by the staff. It was as if I was keeping them from chatting with each other for those few minutes. The rooms contained no materials on Charlotte, or the hotel and its amenities and I had to search these out on my own. The second day I was there I returned to my room around 4PM and it had not been cleaned. At 4:30 I received a knock on the door that they were finally ready, so I had to vacate for a bit.

Due to the lack of concern by staff, I would not recommend staying here if you have never been to Charlotte. But, if you are familiar with the town then by all means, take advantage of a good price and an amazing bed. The hotel itself is worth staying in, the staff could use some work.

My husband and I stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton for one night to attend his company Christmas party in Charlotte. We stayed at the same hotel last year ( it was then Morgan Suites) and found that is has gone downhill slightly. It is still a nice hotel with the most comfortable beds I have ever experienced in a hotel. The linens were all very high quality.

The hotel appears to be doing some remodeling, and I believe it is going to be very nice when they get done. Currently, it looks a little rundown. The entire hotel is now nonsmoking. However, our room was on the top floor where previously smoking was allowed. Every hard surface in our room was covered with cigarette burns. The hotel seriously needs to consider updating these now nonsmoking rooms.

I guess we will visit the hotel one more time next Christmas and see if they have made the needed improvements. Overall, it was still a very nice place to get away for an evening.

I arrived in Charlotte in the evening, and hired a cab to drive me to the hotel. This hotel was impossible to find - it apparently is newly renovated/switched from another hotel. The only sign is a neon "HOTEL" sign on the building - nothing noting it is a Four Points, and it is mostly hidden behind a strip mall. Even when the cab pulled up to the entrance, there was still nothing noting the brand of the hotel. The next morning, I noticed a covered sign that said Four Points, but it was nondescript, and did not light up.

I checked in easily, and was offered my floor preference. The lobby area had two couches and a tv on. It definitely did not look like a typical Four Points - it looked like a bad hotel that had been taken over.

When I got to my room, it was pretty average - a standard King size room. The bed was amazing as always. The bathroom was quite small, and the tub was stained in the molding.

I dined at the next door restaurant Harpers one night, and the desk clerk gave me a coupon for a free app or free dessert, which I thought was great.

Overall, this visit was generic - pretty average, but could have been improved.

Nice location close to interstate. Within waking distance of fast food and eat in restaurants. Plesant clean lobby and friendly staff. More than ample parking. Rooms and bathroom were clean & odor free. Our King sized bed was very comfortable. Rooms were quiet. At $127.05 per night we felt the room to be pricey, but reasonable for a large metropolitan area. Negatives: no mini refrigerator nor microwave. televeison not viewable from extreeme angles in room. Value for the dollar - fair.
