My husband and I go to 300 East almost once a week! The atmosphere takes us away - and we really need that from time to time. It is not a large restaurant... and that's what makes it so special. We especially enjoy sitting upstairs in the loft area... or in one of their high-backed booths. The food on their menu is consistently delicious... but don't miss their specials... and fabulous soups! Yum!!! The price is right, too... that's why we can go there so often! Wednesdays and Sundays are 1/2 price bottles of wine! I hesitate to submit this review because I don't want EVERYBODY to find out about "OUR" little restaurant!

Went to 300 East early June 2006 for our anniversay - fabulous! Very fresh menu, with a great blend of flavors. We ate outside - although the road out front is typically busy, you didn't feel so close to it, with the landscaping. Average price for an entree is 17 - not 30 as indicated! Not a huge menu, but still difficult to decide what to order - all the veggies & fruits were very fresh as though picked right from the vine. We will definitely be going back here, especially in the spring/fall to dine outside.
