I was just recently at this hotel on business and it seemed to be a nice property. I was referred here by my company and I woke up with small rashes all over my body and discovered they were from bed bugs! I will never stay at this hotel again

We stayed here on our way home from Florida on a Saturday; we actually called the property from our car about half an hour before we stopped (we got their listing from our Triple A book). The building seems very new. The lobby and lounge area were spacious and welcoming. We have three children under seven years old, so we usually like the rooms at Comfort Suites, and this one had a great new kitchenette, with microwave and granite sitting area, as well as a couch. The service was very courteous. And the breakfast the next morning was the best I'd ever had at a Comfort Suites--hot eggs and biscuits, sausage, all kinds of pastries, waffles, cereal, yogurt (the only thing missing was a nice selection of fruit, but there were some apples). There was plenty of room in the dining area, but we took our food back to the room. All in all, we had a great last-minute stay near Charlotte.
Great hotel, nice room-wonderful accomodations. The mattress was unbelievable and there was a nice down comforter on the bed. I am a very picky/scornful person but this hotel surpassed my expectation. I would definitely stay there again.

Just wanted to say that this is a great comfort suites hotel. The last one I stayed at had an awful smell, I dont know if this is from the no smoking policy or what. I had the guest room with whirlpool bathtub which was great, much bigger than the pictures. They had breakfast in the morning and drinks and snacks in the afternoon. The location is right buy the new northlake mall. A good bang for your buck if your staying in the area.
We were headed to Myrtle Beach but wanted to make a stop in Charlotte so we could see Lowe's Motor Speedway.
My first impression of this hotel as we walked inside was, it did NOT smell! It had a fresh, pleasant smell and no cigarette odor or musty odor. I loved that!!
The lobby was quite pretty, loved the fountain in the middle. The breakfast area was exceptionally nice and the breakfast items were all good. Love making the waffles, it's fun and they are always delicious! Very spacious area too with more seating than many hotels. They were supposed to of had coffee and cookies out in the evenings but we didn't find anything but crumbs :)
The only things I didn't like were the pillows, flat and hard! And, why is it no one seems to sweep the bathroom floors properly?
The other thing was the outdoor pool was full of rowdy adults and there was no way I could let my children swim with these kinds of adults especially with some of the language that was being used. So they were quite disappointed.
All minor things and a very nice hotel overall !
ps... if you are a NASCAR fan, the Speedway offers a track tour that is fantastic... it was the least expensive thing we did the whole trip and it was FUN! They even take you for a lap around the track! Fun, fun, fun!
pss.... We ate at the Bob Evans near the hotel... eegads...AWFUL ! Terrible service, apparently they haven't heard of Southern Hospitality. The staff was awful from the beginning to the end...hostess, servers, cashiers... lots of restaurants down the road or up at Concord Mills!
