What an awful place to stay. This place has roachs, dirty carpets that turns your white socks black. Desk clerk was the rudest clerk I have ever experenced, when house keeping cleaned the room they took my remote and when I asked for another remote I waited 2 days when I went down to ask for a remote I was told by the clerk that he was sorry that I had to suffer so bad not having a remote in a very nasty way, I asked to talk to the manager he said he wasn't going to bother the manger over a remote. I can by NO means reccommend this place. Stay far away. Crack head bums asking for money. What a terrible experence.

I happened upon this hotel while looking for friends who were just married. Though a budget hotel, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the pool inviting. What made my stay very enjoyable was the staff. They went above and beyond. I was greeted as though a long lost family member. When asked about restaurantrs in the area Kathy and Eric not only gave me several suggestions but mapped out directions. Before I left the lobby I had a map of the property and the city, a business card, in case I got lost and needed to call and names of all the desk clerks I would be dealing with. You don't realize how bad the service industry has become until you run into GREAT SERVICE. I enjoyed my visit with my friends and my stay at the hotel. I will be coming back!

I am a Business traveler and I like to stay in hotels that are reasonable and where I feel like I get my moneys worth. Well I was pleasantly surprised how reasonable the rates are and how nice the girls were at the reception desk. I will definitely go back. KEEP IT UP.
It’s nice to stop at American owned hotel.

I have stayed at this motel for many years and I seen three different owners throughout my stays. I have to admit this new owner has taken much pride in remodeling the rooms and providing customer service at any length. The room I stayed in had just been remodeledand it looks great!!!! The staff was very courteous and very helpful and caring. The changes that have occurred are really noticable. I want to congratulate the owner and his staff on their efforts in making this motel just as safe and comfortable as the other brand name chains in the Charlotte area without gouging my wallet. My family and I will continue staying with this motel for all our lodging needs. I recommend everyone to try the Brookwood Inn and receive the same southern hospitality we received.
