I stayed for 1 night at this LQ for a trade show and I wasn't disappointed at all. I have stayed at nicer LQ and I have been to worse.
Checkin
The ladies at the front desk were very nice and helpful. I always request a room away from the elevator and well I had the room that was the 1st one after the elevator and next to the snack and laundry room. They were pretty full so they didnt have any other choices that were clean yet.
No problems checking in at all.
Room
The 1st room I entered that was next to the elevator had way too much deodorizer sprayed. Like someone dumped a huge load of musty flowers on your head. So I went down and asked if they could change my room. They did have more but they were all next to the elevator so i waited about 10 minutes for one to be cleaned. This room was better but still a bit too much deodorizer. I just turned one the AC when I left to help circulate the air a bit. It helped.
Nice size double room with a desk.
Bed
Not bad at all. I had a double and it was comfortable.
Bathroom
The average LQ bathroom. Nothing fancy but it all worked. It did take about 1 minute to get hot water in the morning. I thought I was going to have to take a cool shower but they it finally kicked in. 1 free soap and 1 free shampoo.
TV
They did have an old crap TV. The color was horrible. They needed a new TV in that room.
Internet
Free and not bad speed. I think it was only plug in. I didn't get a wireless signal. Speeds weren't bad at all.
Parking
Parking was free. They do give you a note not to leave valuables in your car. I agree, the area didn't look bad but it also wasn't Beverly Hills.
Overall my rating 3 of 5 isnt bad its just an average hotel. They had a handful of things that could be corrected but overall it wasn't that bad.
If I was in the area again I would pick another hotel but I would not have a problem staying here again.
