We stayed here for the night instead of driving to Charlotte at 3am in the morning to catch an early flight the next day. Check in and check out were very easy. The sleeping area was very clean and the beds we had were comfortable. The bathrooms could have been a bit more clean. There was a tiny bit of black mold growing in the shower curtain.
We got up early and hit up the breakfast buffet they offered. It was all very bland and plain tasting. They had a cook who scrambled up custom omlettes, but he wasn't around all the time and we didn't have a lot of time to wait for him to come back from where ever it was he went. The milk my son poured into his cerial was sour and almost gloppy. The hostess was very friendly and did what she could to try and help us.
We didn't use the excersise room, but it looked clean. We did use the pool area. The pool was very cold for an indoor pool. I don't think they turned the heat on. The hottub was full of soap bubbles and I even got a very tiny peice of glass stuck in my foot while walking through it.
The surrounding area is pretty empty of resturaunts, but we did find two grocery stores close by. The airport is extremely close. No need to worry about loosing time....even if there was some traffic.
In all, this was a nice place to stay if you are just using it to sleep before or after your trip from the airport. If I could not find a different hotel to stay at next time I am in the area, I would stay here again.
