We stayed here for the night instead of driving to Charlotte at 3am in the morning to catch an early flight the next day. Check in and check out were very easy. The sleeping area was very clean and the beds we had were comfortable. The bathrooms could have been a bit more clean. There was a tiny bit of black mold growing in the shower curtain.

We got up early and hit up the breakfast buffet they offered. It was all very bland and plain tasting. They had a cook who scrambled up custom omlettes, but he wasn't around all the time and we didn't have a lot of time to wait for him to come back from where ever it was he went. The milk my son poured into his cerial was sour and almost gloppy. The hostess was very friendly and did what she could to try and help us.

We didn't use the excersise room, but it looked clean. We did use the pool area. The pool was very cold for an indoor pool. I don't think they turned the heat on. The hottub was full of soap bubbles and I even got a very tiny peice of glass stuck in my foot while walking through it.

The surrounding area is pretty empty of resturaunts, but we did find two grocery stores close by. The airport is extremely close. No need to worry about loosing time....even if there was some traffic.

In all, this was a nice place to stay if you are just using it to sleep before or after your trip from the airport. If I could not find a different hotel to stay at next time I am in the area, I would stay here again.

“Adequate but somewhat run-down and grungy”

I stayed here 2 nights for business and had a king spa room. The hotel was adequate overall for a brief business stay, though without the in-room jacuzzi-whirlpool-spa, I might rate it more harshly.

The room was a decent size but had a kind of icky feel, kind of run-down and grungy everywhere you looked. I am normally never think twice about walking barefoot on hotel room carpets or touching things, but here I did. Maybe from the jacuzzi being in the room (not in the bathroom but in the room - a few feet from the bed) the carpet had been wet too often.

The lobby was moderately better, a common layout and style from other Courtyards I've seen. The pool was small but useable, the workout room was tiny with a treadmill, elliptical, and weights. The breakfast buffet was disappointing especially for the money.

This was a great place to stay near the Charlotte airport. Very convenient with shuttle service although it was only hourly on the weekend. Room could not have been nicer--large with sofa and desk and chair with good light. Attractive modern decor. Comfortable bed. Small bathroom with all the necessities including hair dryer and coffeemaker. The hotel had a 24 hour business center and a nice indoor pool with jacuzzi. Didn't use either but peeked in to see them. The front desk staff were all nice and friendly as was the shuttle driver who offered water bottles to everyone. I will stay here again if I am ever in the area. It was very well priced--quite the bargain. I've paid twice as much for lots less.

I was thrilled with my stay at the Courtyard. I book 2 rooms and had absoultely no trouble signing in. I felt like they were waiting for me to arrive. The room was absoultely clean. The bed was oh so comfortable. The decor in the hotel lobby was beautiful. My cousin and I actually wanted to take several pieces home with us. The only flaw I found with the hotel was in the morning, around 8:30-9, housekeeping came and knocked on our room door. I announced that someone was in the room, but they still tried to enter. But that was our fault for not putting the 'do no distrub sign outside.' Breakfast was good. Our waitress was so pleasant that we left her a $10 tip. Although it is not within the heart of Charlotte, it still is not far from Downtown Charlotte. I recommend this hotel.
