Travelling from England and never having visited this area before, I booked this hotel in advance through Expedia for two nights on my arrival and one night just prior to departure on the recommendations of Trip Advisor. Unlike the last reviewer, I was not disappointed in the slightest. It perfectly fitted the bill for me: quiet, pleasant and good value.... more

My husband and I just stayed here this past weekend. We had reserved our room about 2 1/2 months ago and were really looking forward to our stay based on reviews on this site. However, we were very disappointed. We had a King non - smoking room which faced the parking lot. The room, including the bathroom, was dirty and... more

Just returned from a pleasant 3-day stay at The Park. Service/staff were gracious, friendly and very efficient. Self-serve complimentary morning coffee/tea near elevators was a plus along with complimentary bathrobes, free parking & apples at the front desk. Room was well appointed, bathroom large, bright, clean w/ a large illuminated magnifying mirror--great for those of us who are visually-challenged. It's... more

The room was clean. I was a little disappointed that as a single traveler they put me in a room with two beds rather than one king, but did not ask for a change. Service was very good. Shortly after I got to my room, someone called to see if everything was satisfactory. When I did not make it to... more

RECOMMENDED: Located just off the South Park Mall but far enough way to avoid street noise, the Park Hotel is a bit like staying at your Aunt's house. Little decorating touches, elegant styling, plush carpet and general attention to detail make for a very comfortable stay. The property, built in the early 80's, has gone thru 1 major renovation and... more

Very pleasurable stay at The Park. Would stay there again. Very quiet and peaceful hotel. There were workers there working on the building, but did not seem to bother us at all. They were gone by 6 pm. Overall great experience, very close to a lot of attractions. more

We stayed at the Park Hotel Aug 2004. While it is a nice hotel, well maintained, classy decor, etc. I just didn't find anything "fabulous" about it. I guess it depends what you are looking for in a hotel. We're more into "fun" than appearances. The pool area is VERY small. The breakfast buffet was excellent. more

We recently stayed at The Park, July 9-11 with our two young children. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. The rooms were decorated nicely and comfortable. There were two weddings going on at the hotel but the staff never skipped a beat. I would definately stay again. P.S. the outside pool was very nice and... more

We had a hard time deciding if we were going to stay here or at Ballentyne. However the location of The Park is really close to South Park Mall and that is definately an attraction. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel had a older--well established air about it. The decor is mahogany and marble in the public... more
