Now I realize that motel 6 even though is not franchising so much as other motel chains its very unpredictable. Some motel 6's are good but some not. We stopped at this property when inclement weather decided that we could not go much further safely. We should have known that any property that closes the lobby at 7 pm and heads to the 'night check-in' is in a somewhat, er, challenging part of town.
