As soon as I arrived, there was a doorman or valet ready to take my bags. I was in my room within minutes, that's how fast checkin was. Customer service was quite accommodating. The hotel was big and beautiful with classic decor. It was perfect for my few days in town. My room was a nice size and perfect (away... more

We were on a trip with our travel trailer and visiting family in Charlotte where it was a little too cold to stay in the travel trailer. The Hilton was a great option, well located, close to restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful! more

This is one of those very busy well tooled all around hotels. You have business travelers working in Charlotte during the day, you have families vacationing, wedding parties, basketball treams, and even Edy's Ice Cream holding some type of conference. Probably because of this every member of the staff I interacted with from the waitstaff in the restaurant, to day... more

I didn't get off to a good start at the Hilton Charlotte University Place where I stayed one night in mid-December. The only person at the front desk completely ignored me when I was standing directly in front of her. She only answered the phone and made calls without even acknowledging my presence. Eventually another person showed up and checked... more

I have stayed at this hotel many times. A few years ago my review wouldn't have been quite as glowing, but they have really spent a lot to effort to renovate this hotel. It now looks pretty new and the rooms are in great shape. When I travel to Charlotte for work, this is my first choice of hotels. It... more

This was a very nice, very comfortable hotel. However, for a Hilton, there were cosmetic issues that I would not have expected such as peeling wallpaper, gaps between the ceiling and wall, stained carpets, etc. However, they were obviously just cosmetic, the room was very clean. We got the room from Priceline.com for only $45/night and were very happy with... more

Stayed for a conference during the weekend. Lovely hotel. I spent most of my time at the conference but I was pleased to discover there were many restaurants and shops within walking distance. I did not have a car but I did not feel stranded in the least. The staff was gracious. The beds were fabulous. The bathrooms were a... more

We stayed for 4 nights. Clean and when asked for extra towels, directions etc, got it right away. We only had breakfast at hotel, good but pricey. We went to a few of the resturants on the boardwalk Very Good. Wine store was GREAT!!! Hung out and listened to great music. Would stay again. more

My wife and I stayed here for one on on July 11, 2008. We booked thru hotel's website and got a room for 108.00 tax incl w/govt discount. There isn't anyhting i can say for the hotel but, impressive. From the ck-in all the way to maid service, everyone was very gracious. There are many restraunts and shops within walking... more

Spent 4 nights and had a good stay. Since this is Hilton, I do expect a little better than good. The beds were the best thing, very good sleep and little noise. The TV was huge and was very nice. The bathroom was very small, you had to close the door if you sat on the toilet that small. The... more
