The hotel accomodations themselves are nice but the customer service is less than desirable. I was one of 12 people who had their cars broken into the night of my stay. Of course, I cannot hold the hotel accountable for stolen items, but there was a disturbing sense on non-chalantness regarding any efforts to help those of us affected. Up... more

This is a beautiful hotel as are most Embassy Suites. The salmon I had for dinner was fabulous and the internet, while costing $9.95, worked great. My only complaint was the "cooked to order" breakfast. The way it's set up makes things very slow and you have no real control over the portions. For $170 night I'll look for another... more

This was a very nice hotel. It looks impressive inside, it's very clean, and the staff is helpful and friendly. There's a free shuttle to and from the airport, which is nice because Charlotte is expansive. All the rooms are suites, and they try to make it like a little home, with a large window that overlooks the atrium. The... more

After a horrible trip to the Florida Keys, we were delayed in Charlotte due to weather back home. Our first night in Charlotte, we stayed in another hotel. After being delayed a second night, we decided to stay here after we realized how close it was to the airport. We have previously stayed in other Embassy Suites and this one... more

Stayed at this Embassy Suites over a weekend. i forgot what the Embassy suites are like during that time period. This Embassy Suites was well kept. It is clean, and the front desk people are easy to work with. They have a nice reception at night, and the people working it even know how to make a Long Island Ice... more

Had a great stay here. The atrium is nice, with lots of seating areas available, amid the plantings, fountains, and birds. The breakfast was great. The manager reception in the afternoon was very generous and an enjoyable way to relax at the end of the day. It is not near downtown, but takes about 5 minutes to drive there. My... more

Heading down South for the Holidays with two screaming kids in the car, lead us to a much needed stop in Charlotte for the night. We called the Embassy Suites (my folks have stayed there before) and were shocked to get a $99 rate two days before Christmas. The hotel is lovely, smells so fresh and clean, and has brand... more

This hotel is lovely. The nightly "manager's reception" was nice with free drinks and snacks. The in-door heated swimming was enjoyed by our family. The morning breakfast was fabulous with made-to-order eggs, omelets, etc. However, we were extremely disappointed to learn that it cost $9.95 for 24-hours of internet access. We wanted to search the web for area attractions. We... more

I can see where people would pick up on the age. There were a couple of crimescene-like stains on my carpet that I tried not to contaminate with trace evidence by stepping in. The WiFi shuts down if too many people are in the hotel. And the hotel was PACKED so it was pretty spotty. And I was on business,... more

A few years ago when my children were younger, I used to worry about staying in a "nice" hotel because the kids might stain the carpet or upholstery or break/chip something else. No need to worry here. Chances are that whatever it is, it's already been stained, chipped or broken at least once. We all know the Embassy Suites formula.... more
