This a good choice considering its a Four Points and not a Ritz Carlton. Pros: Free parking, free internet, newly appointed rooms, brand new workout room, close to airport, 10 minutes from downtown, and next to light rail. Cons: Uncomfortable pillows, no quality dining options nearby, small bathroom and was difficult to find hotel since its behind an office strip... more

Where to begin, this hotel was okay in some aspects, but horrible in others. First, I will start off with the good. The hotel staff, for the most part, were friendly and helpful. The night crew was a little on the cranky side. Our check in was quick and simple, so no problems there. Rooms: The beds were comfortable and... more

While on a business trip I parked new truck IN FRONT of motel. Between 11:00 pm and 6:00 am, window was smashed and belongings stolen. History of this kind of incident was revealed only afterwards. Such predatory behavior is apparently common, as "security guard" ran off a vagrant who lurked around my shattered-open truck even by daylight and as we... more

I have stayed here twice now and each time there is one thing that really annoys me. This time it was the AC unit in the room. It was so loud when it ran it woke me up in the middle of the night each time it turned on. It was horrible. Checkin I waited 10 minutes to check in... more

I booked the hotel as my other options were either too expensive or lacked an airport shuttle. This is where the Four Points Charlotte comes in... After a minimal (~10 minutes) wait in Charlotte Int'l Airport, the shuttle arrived. Check-in was speedy and was upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite thanks to my SPG Platinum status (I wouldn't have had... more

After waiting approximately 15 minutes at the front desk to check in, we were finally given a room. Upon arrival to our room, the air conditioning unit was not operating properly, and the thermostat read 85 degrees. I called the front desk to inform them of the problem, and they assured me someone would be up to look at the... more

Our family stayed in one of the suites. We absolutely loved it!! One of the things I loved about it was the fact that it had central air--no window units. It had a small kitchenette area so that our family could keep stuff in the fridge or heat something up in the microwave. Good customer service. The only thing I... more

This was by far the best Four Points I have stayed in. It had clearly been recently upgraded as the decor was spotless and the carpets were nice and plush throughout. Our king room was actually a small suite, with the living area fully separated from the bedroom/bathroom. Judging by the fire escape map, most all rooms were of this... more

I was in town for NASCAR All Star weekend. This hotel was nice and clean. It looks like it just got a make over. They did a great job. It is less than a 1/2 mile from freeway. Across the street from the new trolley line to downtown. This is a great place, I would recommend it to anyone staying... more
