We stayed at the Duke Mansion for 3 nights for our anniversary. We had booked the fanciest room (the Nisbet Room), based on the web site pictures. When we arrived, we found out that it had been double-booked for the first night. I don't know how they managed this & don't know why they didn't tell us ahead of time.... more

The Duke Mansion is an historic home. The bed room & bathroom were spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately the walls are paper thin. If you are a light sleeper, suggest that you lodge elsewhere. more
