The Staff was very pleasant and allowed me to cancel my reservation! Unfortunately I looked at 5 different rooms and they were all nasty. They smelled either of cat spray, mildew, cigarette smoke, and were to my standard filthy. I would suggest finding another hotel. This hotel needs a total makeover. This one rates a 1/2 star for me. more

I took my family to Carowinds and found this hotel close to the attraction. But I should have stayed somewhere else. The room was dirty (sheets had spots), door handle was falling off the bathroom door, bad stains on the carpet. Don't be fooled by the very nice front desk area. Would never go back. more

I was horrified when I went into my room, it stunk, the bed was messed up, it was suppose to be nonsmoking and there was cigarette ashes on the sink, was suppose to have micro and fridge, it had neither! We requested a non-smoking room. It was pretty clear that the room had previously been a smoking room that they made into non-smoking, but it still smelled pretty bad.
