We loved the Residence Inn Piper Glen. We were able to check in early (9:30 am). We booked a 1 bedroom suite for my husband, myself and 6 year old daughter. We had a great kitchen. The couch pulled out to a bed for my daughter, and she loved having the room to herself. We had a king bed in... more

We used Marriott points and got this room for free for 2 nights. The cash price would have been 169.00 per night. We didn't expect a lot because the last time we visited here we stayed in a different Marriott affiliate and were disappointed. However we were pleasantly surprised to find that the bed was comfortable and had nice linens.... more

I stayed at the Residence Inn Piper Glen with my sister after she had a surgical procedure at a nearby medical office, and everything was comfortable and attractive. I stopped by the hotel early in the morning while my sister was "under the knife" to register and ask for early check in if possible. The desk clerk was very helpful,... more

GOOD: We had a long stay in a 2 bedroom suite - very comfortable rooms and beds. We found the front desk staff to be very friendly and accomodating, and the location can't be beat. We were across the street from Target, large grocery store, numerous restaurants (loved Firebrids!), etc. The price was also very reasonable ($150/night). We would defintely... more

We stopped here to visit family. The hotel is well run, clean, the rooms spacious and bright. They have a decent free breakfast. It's located in a good neighborhood with a shopping center across the road and a gas station and car wash within walking distance. The only negative, for us, was the preponderance of guests with dogs. We like... more

This large property, located on the southside of Charlotte and very close to the South Carolina state line, is relatively new and it shows from the well-maintained grounds to the quality of the rooms. Room size is larger than the normal Residence Inn. Traveling for business, I am on the road over 90% of the year, so the extra room... more

I can't begin to tell you how happy we were with this hotel! I knew nothing about the hotel when we booked...we just needed a place to stay for race weekend and just about everything was sold out or very expensive. So we booked and hoped for the best and got even better! Upon arrival from Phoenix, we called for... more

Though there are many reasons to avoid this hotel, which I will cover shortly, the most important thing to note is that I was overcharged on my bill and they have YET to correct this mistake. I was given a bill, at checkout, that showed what my credit card would be charged. When I received my credit card bill, they... more

The Marriott Residence Inn in the Piper Glen area of Charlotte NC is not to be missed. Every room is a suite and a very large suite at that! I think my room is as big as my first apartment. Each comes with full size fridge, microwave, dishes, dining area, 2 tv's, seperated rooms, central heating and air....the list goes... more

Emma Farmer is General Manager of this Inn and it is the best run Hotel/Motel we have ever visited. The entire staff is customer friendly and is there to serve you. Our entire family stayed their when my father-in-law passed away and Emma and her staff went out of their way (although I think they do this all the time)... more
