We flew into and out of Charlotte, and stayed at this Fairfield Inn location at the beginning and the end of our vacation to the Blue Ridge Mountains. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes drive from the Charlotte airport. For both stays, front desk service was good and our room was ready for occupancy when we arrived. Breakfast is included... more

We stopped at the Fairfield Inn for a quick one night stop on our way from New York to Florida. We weren't expecting much, but we knew it would be nice as it was a member of the Marriott family. This is a great hotel if you're spending a leisure weekend in Charlotte and want to be near Carowinds. The hotel is very clean and in a safe part of town. Carowinds is just 5-10 minutes away and the shopping on Tyvola Road (Sharons Corners) is about the same. Downtown Charlotte is 15 minutes away tops. Very reasonably priced as... more
