Was in Charlotte on bizz. Holiday Inn very convenient. Had a junior suite and it was very comfortable. Next door to Mert's Heart and Soul and a cleaners which I used. Front desk when I checked in very friendly and nice. Front desk when I checked out (different person) was very snobbish like he was at the Four Seasons or... more

SItting in this hotel right now! Free wireless, so close to all of the downtown nightlife and clubs. We pulled in to the hotel parking garage ($12 self park fee) around midnight and you could hear the music blasting on the streets and people were everywhere. We were worried that we wouldn't get any sleep, but the hotel is very... more

I'm in Charlotte for business and the Holiday Inn is an excellent choice if you are working downtown. Great staff, nice decor, and perfect location; makes you think of a Marriott, not a Holiday Inn. This is a flagship, however, so they've really done a nice job. The good: * Updated, rooms are nice, location, staff, restaurant onsite is convenient,... more

I traveled to Charlotte for a conference that was held at the hotel. My co-worker and I arrived at the hotel that evening. Check in was typical, but the desk clerk gave me the the directions and information about the hotel at a very fast rate. After we parked in the garage for $12 per night, we took the elevator... more

I stayed at this hotel the weekend of February 23rd. Upon arrival I was pleasantly surpised at the lobby decor. It's got nice updated furniture that has a funky feel! The front desk agent was not overly friendly. When I asked him if there was a basketball game that evening he said "I don't know" - then I asked about... more

Booked the hotel by checking out their prices online and calling to make a reservation. Stayed here overnight for a work event in December 2007. Charlotte and the hotel itself is very close to the airport, probably 15 minutes away. This hotel was located right downtown with plenty of restaurants to choose from within walking distance. It's $10 to park... more

Location, Location, Location. The location of this hotel is great for everything in Uptown Charlotte. The Bobcats Arena and new Children's Center is right next door on one side, the Library and Dicovery Place Museum on the other side. The Central Banking and Business District and Performing Arts Center is also right next door. The convention center is only a... more

Went for a week long training conference with 6 co-workers. Holiday Inn has really made some changes! I haven't stayed in one in a while, but this hotel was very modern(furniture, fixtures, etc.) and clean. The restaurant was absolutely excellent! Ate breakfast and dinner there more than once- comfortable place to have drinks with a small group- leather couches. Food... more

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Center City over the weekend of the Meineke Car Care Bowl. The hotel is conveniently located a block from Tryon Street the uptown "main drag" for restaurants and theaters. The lobby is large with very contemporary furniture. The hotel restaurant is also on the first level (we didn't eat there, so I can't help with... more

We made a trip to Charlotte to attend The NBA game at Bobcats Arena. We could not have asked for a nicer place to stay. The location was perfect. It was quiet the entire time. It was very clean and comfortable with everything in working order. The staff were very friendly and treated us nice. We were on the fifth... more
