After traveling 10 hrs from Florida we arrived at this hotel. We were sent to the furthest bldg from where we checked in. We noticed an armed security guard on patrol. The rooms were not clearly marked and my husband had to get out and walk around to find the room. The bldg was dated, felt like a dormitory. It... more

The Residence Inn had SMALL ROOMS (the bed hardly fit in the room), a FILTHY POOL, LOUD GUESTS. Location was GREAT, continental breakfast was OK, parking was limited. The unit we had was furnished with a squeaky AC, but that is just a one time experience. For the price, it wasn't worth the price from discount site. more

I didn't care much for this place. It's basically like staying in an apartment complex full of efficiency units, but they seem dark inside, with older, run-down furnishings. The rooms have full kitchens, including plates, glasses, silverware, etc., so I guess this place would be good for extended stay customers if it wasn't so depressing. There's a complementary breakfast and... more

We stayed in the Residence Inn after a long car ride from Ohio, en route to the beach in South Carolina. My husband and I are big fans of Residence Inn because the quality is usually pretty good and there's lots of room for us and my two small kids (3 and 5). We generally get a two bedroom suite... more

We stayed at this hotel on a return trip from Orlando. It is conveniently located off of I-77 in a nice quiet area. It is adjacent to several other hotels. The check in was quick. We received room 622 which was described as a penthouse. It had one full bedroom in a loft and a murphy bed downstairs (pull out... more

My wife and I stayed here again for business, this time for 4 days. Scott at the front desk remember our first names and even let us check in early, which was great! Kevin Shim the manager came out and greeted us personally and made sure we had everything we needed. The housekeeping staff was courteous and ready to assist... more

Read the previous reviews and was skeptical of location. Even went so far as to check out availability at other Marriotts. But was pleasantly surprised. We checked in around lunch time and were granted an upgrade to a penthouse room. We explained to the Staff that USAirways had "lost" my wife's luggage and they would hopefully be delivering it to... more

All I can say about some of the negative reviews is... "Wow, where did you really stay?" I have stayed at the Residence Inn, South many times in the past 2 years. I think I have over 150 nights at that location alone, and I have never had a bad experience to date. I have stayed in each of the... more

This Hotel is Horrible! They claim to have recently updated it, but they haven't. We stayed in the 2 story penthouse suite, what a joke! The bathroom upstairs had black mold where grout was supposed to be, so the tiles could actually be lifted off. And there were HUGE cockroaches everywhere. They were about 3 inches long and crawling on... more
